"Ode to Patience"
They say with patience comes wisdom.
If so then I must truly get some!
Oh to be patient! Oh to be wise!
Oh to have esteem in my own eyes!
With patience there’s no harm in waiting.
With patience there’s no room for hating.
With patience there’s no need to hurry.
With patience there’s no need to worry.
And so I must learn to be patient.
But struggle to not be complacent.
This change will come for me one day.
So I must be patient along the way!
